what i think is sort of glazed over is that hawkeye has not lost only trapper but he’s lost henry , too . which is such double homicide because when you think about henry’s relationship with hawkeye , he always would talk to hawk . like off the top of my head , in sometimes you hear the bullet or in sticky wicket , you can just tell that henry has this huge soft spot for hawkeye and actually goes out of his way to talk to him when he’s upset — not to pity him or say what he want...
