Ivy’s Epilepsy is an easy and informative read, providing critical and useful information for young teens coping with this disease. The author of the ADA legislation, Hon. Tony Coehlo, has given his endorsement for Ivy’s Epilepsy, which also encouraged me to read the book. I found the seizure diary and the info on sleep and meditation particularly interesting, along with the emphasis on the importance of a team working on behalf of the patient. Of course, the bond between Ivy and her alert dog was a joy to read; along with learning about the special training Audie needed and the service Audie provided. A worthwhile read. 5 stars; highly recommend.
