I just finished wrapping up the pillowcases I purchased for my arms and feet. I’ll now have three in red, yellow, blue, pink, and gray each. Now, I will be matching. Why is this important when you can’t even see the pillowcases when I am covered up? Because I will know I am matching and color-coordinated.
Something I don’t care to match are my curled feet and hands. I don’t want to coordinate my skinny legs with anything. Our bodies may give evidence of our various diseases, but they will not reflect our insides if we can help them.
The movie A Beautiful Mind reminds us how powerful our brains and minds are. The Power of Neuro-Plasticity, by Shad Helmsetter is on my list of books to read this week. I do well to retrain my brain and mind. I’m making new grooves of good thoughts, emotions, actions, and habits.
The attractiveness of the walls in my room is specifically tailored to what pleases me. I’ll have two last angels hung above my door tomorrow. This will end the room project. However, I am also interested in the project of hanging pictures on the walls of my mind. Regardless to what is going on with my body and caregiver situation, I am transforming to have a beautiful mind.
