It is interesting that there was a television program about hoarders, but I do not recall seeing one about tidying up. Are we naturally slobs? With the release of Marie Kondo’s The Magic of Tidying Up, an industry has blossomed that helps their clients tidy up their homes, and in some cases their offices.

The San Diego Union-Tribune had an article in the Home and Garden section on Saturday March 16, 2004, that described how the initial tidying up process may take many visits from the hired consultant to get a home to a reasonable level of neatness and organization that is acceptable to both the client and the consultant.
