What’s new at Exponent II? We’re turning 50!

As the longest-running Mormon feminist publication — started in 1974 — we’re celebrating our 50th anniversary milestone all year long. Whether you’ve followed along for years or are newly connecting with Exponent II, we want to make sure you know about the new ways to get involved, as well as how we continue to grow our community and advance our mission. Ways To Get InvolvedThe Winter 2024 issue of Exponent IIAs we continually adapt and improve the visitor experience, we encourage you to spend time with our website , which hosts our digital magazine experience, retreat info, and the blog — including the thousands of posts and comments since its founding in 2006. Every print subscription to Exponent II comes with a digital subscription, making it easy to share links to articles or to search our database for past articles. We’ve partnered with Brigham Young University to launch a free Exponent II archival database, where you can explore issues of Exponent II dating back to 1974.Drop by our free, bimonthly writing workshops . These are for experienced and new writers alike. Past topics have included writing op-eds, erasure poetry and conducting good interviews. Support our community funds , designed to support BIPOC content creators, artistic collaborations and needs-based scholarships. Attend our quarterly launch parties for each issue of Exponent II magazine. It’s like attending a poetry reading or a gallery debut, on Zoom. Hear from our many contributors in our place. Look for our annual retreat registration to open in June and the announcement of our keynote speaker in April.New Organizational Highlights
