The Middle Is Miserable

This phrase is taken from Bob Merritt’s book Done with That. I found the phrase so true and so enlightening that I decided to record a short video on it. Think about it: doesn’t living in the middle destroy so much joy and peace and happiness? We aren’t willing to embrace the full momentary pleasures of sin, but we also aren’t willing to resist tasting, just a little. So we live in the middle and make ourselves miserable. Bob’s words offered some very fruitful meditations in my own life, and I’m hoping they will for you as well.
