I may simply misunderstand the point of this but if we are going to open our hearts to anyone I would have thought this over privileges, self absorbed twit is about the last person who it should be wasted upon.

Liam, good to meet you. Clearly you're new to my work, and it may never be for you, but when I write about "opening our hearts of compassion," that's not intended to work like an open fire hydrant, incessantly gushing.
Instead, selectively, when it seems appropriate, a person can find something like a small inner faucet (as it were, this analogy set is new, in your honor, Liam). We can turn on a trickle of human-kindness, stopping when we've had plenty for now.
We can, on occasion, make a small spiritual choice to feel a bit of compassion for another person..
I do believe in that, yes.
And yes, possibly you may have missed the point of what I wrote, Liam, but thank you for having read as much of this detailed, nuanced article as you saw fit. Maybe some day you will read the whole thing and it will be meaningful for you.

It reminds me of a book I have added to my want-to-read, about the impact of public (private) schools on British men!Especially interesting to me and despite my awareness that he has been a lifelong member of the royal family, surprising to me, was his inability to respect others!

Harry Wales has had such a different life from mine, parts of this aura reading, I felt like I was peeking into an alternate reality.Aside from whether or not I like this choice or that choice of Prince Harry's, my eyes do widen at the life he has lived. Definitely compassion... up to a point, as you put well with your faucet vs fire hydrant analogy!
