Word of the Year
The end of a year brings time for reflection along with the start of a new year which brings new opportunities and hope.
2023 challenged me in many different ways. Some scared me and some were really good for me. The down times were tough...really tough. And the up times felt so light and wonderful. And I'm thankful for all of it.
One of the things I most cherish about last year was deepening my friendships and relationships here in this bookish community. I finally feel like I belong somewhere and that feels really nice. I also made some wonderful new friends along with "meeting" new readers.
I'm so grateful for YOU...those who choose to stay in my world. Thank you for being here with me.
I'm looking forward to 2024 and what the journey will bring.
My Word of the Year for 2024 is "joy." I know I'll be challenged around it and that's okay. I want more joy in my life and I'm excited to figure out how to do that.
