Christmas Paranormal-Scope

Happy and Merry Christmas! I received a book on paranormal creatures as a gift. Some I know. Many I didn’t, so let’s have some fun. The book is Legendary Creatures. Unleash the Beasts!: created by Basher and written by Mary Budzik.

While I am not qualified to read either stars or planets, I am intimately linked to the paranormal in the world in many ways. So are you.

The paranormal-scope is for entertainment and is not meant to guide your life.

Aries:
The Mokele-mbembe is a cousin of the Loch Ness and lives in rivers in the Congo. He/she prefers to eat plants and leads a quiet life. After all the festivities, take a nap. You’re worth it.

Taurus:
A Kappa of Japan looks like half-monkey and half-turtle. He/she will bring you good luck if you give it cucumbers. Consider adding a cucumber to your salads.

Gemini:
The Naga from India is a guardian spirit that protects sacred & natural places. Use the week before the New Year to clean and declutter. Make your home a sacred place.

Cancer:
The Bunyip loves swamps in Australia. When you see one, you won’t be able to describe it to others. That’s its power. If you can’t describe something, either research it or let it go. lol

Leo:
The Hippocamp is half-horse and half-fish. They are loved by the sea god Poseidon. They are very attractive and keep well-groomed. It might be time for a new hairstyle and clothes.

Virgo:
The Kraken loves the cold northern waters. Currently, he/she is napping before going on a trip. If you have time, you might want to plan a trip too.

Libra
Nessie enjoys playing Hide and Seek in Loch Ness. You’ve been hiding your talent. It’s time to soar in the New Year.

Scorpio:
Mermaids are headed for warmer weather, so they can sit on a rock and comb their hair. If you live in the snow zone, plan a trip to see something new instead of Yeti.

Sagittarius:
Qalupalik lives in the Arctic. Children run home in fear of her. For the children, it’s a way of keeping them safe. But fear might be stopping you from doing new things. Something to consider.

Capricorn:
The Mishipeshu lives in Lake Superior and looks like a panther. Well, sort of. What do we learn from this? Don’t go swimming in icy water known for dangerous undertows and wrecking ships.

Aquarius:
The Kopakonan of the Faroe Islands are similar to the Selkies of Ireland. Sometimes they are human and sometimes seals. We all have two sides: the homebody and the adventurer. Go ahead and dance on the beach, but keep to the sand.

Pisces:
The Encantado lives in the Amazon River and is sometimes a man and sometimes a dolphin. He loves to party. Take in a party or two, but beware who you go home with.
