A Launch of a Different Kind
We talk a lot about book launches here, but this past Saturday, I got to celebrate a launch of a different kind. My youngest kiddo graduated from college!
We had lots of family on hand to help celebrate the occasion, and as you can see from the photos, we enjoy having fun together. Peter chose his dad to be his escort, so that is why my husband in robed in white. (In case you were wondering. 
) Peter’s fiance and her family came too, which was lovely.
One of the fun places where we took pictures was at what I call the Peter Rock. Since ACU is a Christian university, there are scripture references around campus, which I love. When we made Peter’s high school senior pictures, we did a few in the stone garden that included a reference to 1 Peter 1:3-4. I told him he was my first Peter, so we had to do it.
Now that we are closing the circle with his graduation we returned to the Peter Rock with the entire family.
My prayer is that his faith will be built on the true Rock and will serve as a guiding force in his life as he steps into the world of adulthood.
