Destiny or Distraction?

We are often told to follow our destiny and stay away from distractions. I feel inversely.

Let's understand what distraction is first.
In simple terms, it is what diverts your attention. Hold on to it; we will revisit this soon.
What is destiny? By definition, it is your predetermined destination by fate or whoever. It could be you also.

To me, distraction is life, and destiny is death. Life is unpredictable and a constant struggle. Death is the ultimate and absolute goal. And so, a distraction is what is meant to keep you away from death. We trade battling with forces to avoid resting in peace because distraction is luring, and destiny is concluding. Life is beautiful. Don't divert your attention. Let distractions guide you until destiny overrides them.

I will end with a quote from my series, All Kaal None.
"Distraction is the best way to win a war without any weapons. Or delay its use in the least." - PB Flower

Thank you, inciminci. I am very philosophical and always see the world with an abstract lens.
