The Summer of ’23
I sat with a warm coffee yesterday morning and looked back on the Summer of ’23.
Most if not all of us clearly remember the Summer of ’20. It was when COVID-19 raged. During the Summers of ’21 and ’22, we tried to adjust to new norms.
The past Summer (’23), I acknowledge that life is really not “what you make it”. I consider how far life has taken me; I reflect heavily on how some deeply held perspectives changed to a normal I describe as “new” and how moving forward might look different.
Books, books, books; two books to complete this year;
Self, self, self; pay attention to my self in a big way;
Business, business, business; books are my business;
Family, family family; my priority.
Now, that Fall ’23 is here; how would you assess your Summer of ’23? Plan to make any changes?
