It saddens me
That we’re so busy
Looking after ourselves
That we neglect the misfortunate
I fantasise often
About a world where we
Stop what we’re doing
And help everyone in need
Where we walk around the streets
Find the homeless
And give them food, water
And homes
Where we walk along the parks
The beaches
The streets
And we pick up the rubbish
Where we take our guitars
Our keyboards
Hell, our triangles
And play for sick kids and adults
It’s a world I yearn for
And all it takes is
A change in attitude
A change in priority
