It’s a math riddle. The whole thing is a math riddle. The number they are reciting is e , Euler’s Number, and you might ask “Who is right?”

The answer is — it depends on when you stop.

So, at the end, the main character says “seven” at the same time that the rest of the group say “six”. But if they stop at that digit, the *most right* number is seven. Basically, you round up. If they don’t stop at that digit, the *most right* number is six and the next digit is also six.
