Want to Please God?

“Do you want to please me?” the Holy Spirit of God spoke to my heart.

“Of course!” I answered right away.

“Then go where I am sending you,” He replied.

Uh oh. God’s will was contrary to MY DESIRES AND MY PLANS!

How quick I was to tell God I wanted to please Him. But now I would have to follow through – or not!

Believing in and following the Lord Jesus Christ is NOT about merely THINKING and SAYING we want to love, please, honor, praise, worship, serve, obey, and glorify God AS WE SHOULD.
