The Gender Game by Bella Forrest

Review:
In a world divided in two, one half ruled by women, the other ruled by men, Violet finds herself in a battle of the sexes.
The world building and ideology behind Matrus and Patrus was an interesting read. Violet’s mission into Patrus gives insight into how the Patriachy choose to rule and control the women in the country, just as her time in Matrus and the treatment of her younger brother does for the men in her home country.
It took me a little while to get into this book, but when Viggo was introduced, I knew I would like where the narrative was headed, even if a little predictable.
A dystopian read with a teeny bit of romance and a deep delve into sexism on both sides.
