My May 2023 Reads

May was a month chock full of reading, even if I finished only 14 books. Three of them covered four of the five reading prompts for the Asian Readathon all month long, and I finished an additional two off-prompt books by Asian authors.

Horror MAYhem was another month-long readathon, and I finished eight books that I felt qualified as horror, or at least had some significant horror elements. Five of those I read during my own Mysterious MAYhem readathon, two weeks later in the month.

I still don't have video editing set up on my new machine, so after months of posting nothing but Shorts on YouTube, I was excited to try live streaming. It has its own learning curve, of course, but overall it worked pretty well, and I will be doing another live show this week to comment in greater detail on my April and May reading and some of my summer reading plans.
