Day 3 of Skeleton Key's Mysterious MAYhem Readathon

I've been doing daily shorts on YouTube, but I am wiped out. I spent entirely too much energy today listening to the first half of Whisper Down the Lane for Literally Dead Book Club. And making snarky comments as I fact-check it, something neither the author nor his editor could be arsed to do.

There's mystery and mayhem, so it counts for my readathon, even if off-prompt, but I would be so much happier if I'd just stuck with Lord of the Flies.
