Where are you building your beautiful castle?

So many buy into the entrepreneurial pipe dream (borrowed from Field of Dreams): “If you build it, they will come.”

And so, they build their beautiful castles (courses, websites, etc)…

…in the middle of a bog where no one goes.

And then they wonder why there isn’t a line of clients waiting outside their virtual door.

And then there are those who are a little savvier and build their beautiful castle in the middle of a bustling city…and still have no one lined up to work with them.

Why?

They haven’t enticed them to enter the castle. (In fact, some people in their target audience might even believe they aren’t worthy of the castle.)

What does this all mean? You’ve got to meet people where they are, and not expect them to get all the things you are throwing down in front of them.

And it can take a bit of effort to do that
… or at least it used to.

I’ve found a way to get people lining up to experience your beautiful castle because they see your authority. They see your value. They see you.

But I’m not quite ready to reveal all the deets yet, at least not publicly.
