Sapere niente e sapere tutto sono esattamente uguali nel senso che entrambi gli stati sono ugualmente impossibili. È impossibile sapere assolutamente niente, poiché anche quello costituirebbe un tipo di conoscenza. Allo stesso modo, è impossibile sapere assolutamente tutto, poiché l’immensità dell’universo e la complessità della vita rendono questa impresa impossibile. Pertanto, sia sapere niente che sapere tutto sono ugualmente impossibili e quindi sono uguali.

Knowing nothing and knowing everything are exactly the same.
Knowing nothing and knowing everything is exactly the same in the sense that both states are equally impossible. It is impossible to know absolutely nothing, as even that would constitute a type of knowledge. Likewise, it is impossible to know absolutely everything, as the vastness of the universe and the complexity of life make such a feat impossible. Therefore, both knowing nothing and knowing everything are equally impossible and thus are the same.
