Engage your prospects with a virtual event

People love to engage with authors and go beyond the book. And, if you’ve already written out your unique insights and perspectives in your short book, why not re-use that information to create a virtual event that goes a little deeper into the topic, shares the information in a different way, or provides your prospects with a higher-touch experience?

You can use your book as the inspiration or basis for a 3- to 5-Day Challenge or a two-hour Masterclass. This type of event not only showcases your expertise but also can be a great way to engage prospects and build excitement about your book.

The steps are simple:
1. Develop the topic for your event using your book as the source or inspiration.
2. Invite your ideal prospects to the event.
3. Deliver the event with lots of value and invite attendees to a conversation with you.

The results of such an event can include book sales (which lead to sales conversation), and sales conversations (which lead to new clients).

The beauty of this system is that once you’ve written the book, you didn’t need to create any new content. You are leveraging the content of your book to create client-attracting experiences in multiple modalities. In this way, you reach more people and are covering the different learning and communication styles of your prospects.

The key to this strategy is having your short book set up correctly in the first place. That’s why I created the Authority Building Short Book Jumpstart. I want to make sure that you have what you need to leverage your short book effectively. But I can only accept 25 people into the workshop because of the level of personalization. Click here to apply and secure your spot in the tailored workshop: https://authorneering.com/shortbookju...

Then stay tuned for tomorrow, when I’ll give you a strategy that helps you always be prepared for a prospect to show up.
