Are You Going the Wrong Direction?

“I am sending you north, and you want to go south,” the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart.

Caught in the act. I was getting directions to go hours south of where I was for a “quick trip” before heading north where God had made plain and clear He was sending me. It would just be a “little detour”. I would obey God ultimately. But go in the opposite direction first. I had my reason, and I believed it was a good one. Had I prayed? No. Had I considered God in this? No.
