I actually wrote this way back in 2015 and came across it again today. Hope you enjoy:
"My granddaughter got in trouble at school a few weeks ago for talking in the lunchroom. This of course earned her some loving correction from her mother (my daughter). A few days later I asked my granddaughter what she was talking about. Her reply was "unicorns". I said, "really, what about unicorns"? She said, "you know how their horn is sharp". This was actually one of the most precious things I ever heard; to hear this little 5-year-old talk about unicorns like it was a given that they have sharp horns. Now I'm convinced that there should be a universal rule that allows little girls to talk about unicorns with immunity from prosecution."
