Remembering the A & W and Other Things...
From MRS BUNDLE'S MIDNIGHT MYSTERY, Page 46, Mrs. Bundle's remembrances of Springfield, Vt's A & W Drive-In....
'Heretofore this tragedy, her own thoughts and memories of
Springfield were always pleasant: first, as a toddler with her mother, being completely fascinated by the Springfield Public Library’s gargantuan stuffed armadillo on display in the glass case; next, as a child with her parents on Sunday afternoon rides, traveling bumpy back roads that always ended at the A & W Drive-In with a special treat—always, a humongous, frosty root beer float and French fries; later, as a teenager, attending “away” football games on chilly fall afternoons at Riverside Park, their own team battling it out with the always-formidable rival, the Springfield Cosmos; then, as a young woman, experiencing the joy of classic films like Flower Drum Song, West Side Story, It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, or Exodus at the stylish Ellis Theater on Main Street; later on, as a family, she and Arthur taking the kids camping at nearby Stoughton Pond. Those were the glory days of Springfield, to be sure.'

There are six Mrs. Bundle Mysteries. The first is:
MRS. BUNDLE TAKES A HIKE: The Case of the Singing Swans. Mrs. Bundle was looking for more excitement in “her little world” of North Pillson Corners, Vermont. Before she can say “Fantastical!", her fledgling B and C Detective Agency becomes entangled in two mysteries that mix family, trust, power, and betrayal into a very hazardous cocktail. She puts her deductive skills to the test (with the help of her teenage neighbor, Angie Andersen, and her favorite sidekick, Cracker) and lets her thirst for Adventure lead her to more intrigue and risk than she ever bargained for....Go to https://squareup.com/market/bundle-pu... for info on the rest of the MRS BUNDLE MYSTERY SERIES books.
