Moving Forward into 2023

Happy New Year! Yes, I realize we are into our third week of the New Year and I apologize for the delayed well wishes. I hope everyone’s 2023 got off to a good start and if not, I hope it gets better.

My own New Year has been a bit mixed. In some ways, it was incredible as we rang in the year on vacation and as such, I returned to work super refreshed. On the other hand, I learned a dear aunt of mine is quite sick with ALS and of course that reminds me of how short life is and why it is important for us to take time to pause and enjoy life overall.

So I move forward, sad but feeling blessed and thankful. Also determined to make the most of the time I have with those I love. Regardless of how your New Year started, I hope you all feel some of the same.
