The End of the Saga

What a ride it's been.

When I started writing Threadbare, I was simply doing it for fun, tossing it out there on Royal Road to experiment with this whole "litrpg" thing, and just enjoy the story.

But along the way, a weird thing happened. People started caring about this little bear. They got invested.

So did I.

And so, I poured my heart out into six books. Three at first, and now, with this final one, three to finish.

It was hard. Won't deny it. Staying on task for such a long time, that's difficult for me. But I did it.

And endings... endings are always hard for me. I did the best I could, went until my gut told me "enough," and wrapped things up as best I could.

Could there have been more? Yes. Would I have written a better ending if I kept going? No, I think not.

So we leave Threadbare with the best ending I could give him, and my gratitude.

Thank you all, for spending your time and attention on the little guy.

And who knows? The future is never set in stone. We'll see what comes, in the years that follow.

And in the meantime, you can purchase the last Threadbare book by following the link below.

Parker Thanks for the adventure. Any hints on what your next book is going to be? I've been rereading your DIRE series and would love a conclusion to that one.

Andrew Seiple There may be more DIRE at some point, but not yet.

I'm actually tempted to dip my toes into space opera. Got an idea for a ship and a crew and some shenanigans...
