Writing update!
My new book, Rent Girl, has been out for a week, and I'm already itching to write again (I know, right? What's WRONG with me?). Thank you SO much to everyone who has already read and bought copies! It means so much to me as a small, self-published author to see people reading and supporting my work. You rock.
So here are some of my upcoming projects. My priorities change depending on how inspired I am/how much energy I have, but I managed to get The Other Woman and Batter My Heart out this year, so honestly, I'm feeling pretty productive. Publishing three books in a year in addition to my full-time job makes me feel like I deserve a break, so I'm going to try not to beat myself with a stick going into 2023.
Wildscape - Luca's book! It's a spinoff of the Horrorscape series, but the focus of the book is going to be on Luca and the rest of the crazy, fucked-up family. It will also contain spoilers for books 1-4, though. (Including a big one that will RUIN book #4 for you if you haven't read it already).
Little Deaths - Small town romance with an older woman and a younger man. It's going to be pretty fucked-up and toxic, but you probably knew that.
Raise the Blood - A gothic horror romance. I don't want to say too much about it yet, but it's super creepy.
The Flesh Pavilion - Dark fantasy romance with political intrigue and vampires.
Untitled friends to enemies to lovers book - The title says it all but if you think you know how it goes, you're probably wrong.
What book are you most excited about?

I felt the same way when I had ideas for the next book! I thought I'd take way more time after finishing the first book. I'm excited for you!

Writing isn't always a linear path, and I find that when I'm stuck I'll just write random shit and that can inspire me.

At least you can write something even if it's random lol. If I start to write random, I get frustrated and delete the whole thing because I hate it. I just can't write random things haha

I'm totally fine now. I still have lows but I've gotten a lot better at self-managing! Thank you. <3
OMG yes, I've felt like that too. But honestly! Reading is the best inspo because at least you can fill your brain with new ideas.

I had a lot of fun writing it! I've always kind of wanted to write a mafia romance.
Ooh, have you read Through a Glass, Darkly? It's my angsty dual-POV vampire romance! My friend, Heather, also wrote a vampire series that's really good called Dreams for the Dead.

It's pretty fucked up, so that's on brand hehe. The hero commits some pretty imaginative acts of violence, several of them in the name of the heroine. <3
Yesss, the enemies to lovers one is going to be really fun! I've already got like thirty pages of it written hehe.

Aww, thank you so much for getting those! I had so much fun working on THE OTHER WOMAN with my mom and RENT GIRL is basically dark porn with dark plot.
It's looking like my next two projects will probably be LITTLE DEATHS and WILDSCAPE. I'm having so much fun with those. Apparently dark and edgy erotic thrillers are my favorite thing to write lol.
