Confront Destructive Habits
I heard Dr. Mike Murdock say, “What you refuse to master today, will master you tomorrow.” Remember, what you do habitually determines what you become permanently.
Make the decision to take a close look at your life and ask yourself, what’s not helping me, that I’m doing on a daily basis?
Go ahead and target one new habit to develop this week. Make a commitment to be very dedicated to create a new lifestyle with the new habit. It’s really that simple. All you have to do is specify habits you could apply to your life that will help you achieve your goals. Now, believe God will help you achieve them.
Remember you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
Choose to develop the habits of winners. Start a new one today. Make a change in something you do every day this week. You will never really change your life until you change something you do daily.
Confront your problems today. Don’t go into this week avoiding your destructive habits that’s been keeping you back from living life effectively.
Please keep this in mind: A habit is any action, conduct, or behavior that you do repeatedly.
This means anything you do twice becomes easier. It is God’s way of helping you succeed. Some experts say when you repeat an action for 21 consecutive days, it will become a habit for you.
Allow yourself time to change. Allow yourself to create some new habits that will allow you to win in every area of your life.
I’ve come to realize, every man fails. Winners simply get back up, and begin again. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Breaking destructive habits are not easy but it is possible. Little by little, you will start tasting the rewards of change.
Discomfort is your first seed for eliminating destructive habits. If you need help, take advantage of my group coaching services or one-on-one coaching services. You can learn more, on my website HERE.
I want to teach you about being happy, healthy, and wealthy. You are invited to join me for the Effective Living Workshop on Saturday, July 16. This is an in-person meeting with very limited seating. Learn more and register today HERE.
