"The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - The Poet of Death & Other Mysteries"

Just finished listening to "The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - The Poet of Death & Other Mysteries" by Jim French Productions, released by Radio Spirits.
While I am happy that Radio Spirits has a five year contract to release collections of the original radio programs produced by Jim French Productions, I do wish that Radio Spirits would include a brief booklet in each of their collections of the late Jim French's radio shows that captured the history of the various programs including recollections from the surviving performers. I think Radio Spirits is missing a great opportunity to help preserve the history of a radio drama production company that survived and thrived well decades past the end of the Golden Age of Radio. Yes, the history is preserved in part on the French's Imagination Theatre banner on the Internet, Radio Spirits in my opinion is grievously dropping the ball here when it comes to helping preserve this unique chapter in radio drama history.
For example, I believe it was John Gilbert who originally portrayed Sherlock Holmes in "The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes," and this collection highlights episodes from his tenure. It would have been beneficial to learn Gilbert's backstory and how he was select to play the Great Detective.
Note: I am a firm believer in full disclosure. Years ago Radio Spirits banned me from posting reviews of their collections on their Facebook page - which was their right to do - because I criticized the poor condition of the collections that had arrived to me at that particular time. Nothing like getting a late night call from Mark Tepper, the then president of Radio Spirits, who yelled at me. [I still have the email I received from him afterwards when he tried to reach out to me, along with the cell phone number he called me from at that time.] I am happy to say that Radio Spirits has improved the quality of their products and customer service since 2015.
And also in the interest of full disclosure, although I have never personally met him, I am friends with Lawrence Albert here on Facebook - though he is not a member of the public Audio Drama page I have here on Facebook. Lawrence Albert has portrayed Dr. Watson for, I want to say at least two decades, but I'm not exactly sure of the length of time he has spent in the role - another reason why a historical booklet would be great.
Now as a side note: Dad, along with Mom, loved listening to Sherlock Holmes audio dramas and movies, but for some reason when I was a teenager he was strongly opposed to me reading the original Sherlock Holmes stories by Conan Doyle because the stories featured Holmes' use of drugs. I think he was afraid that I might use drugs because a "smart" man - albeit fictional - used drugs. Dad could go off on strange tangents and that apple didn't fall far from the tree - I do too.
Lawrence Albert is a great Dr. Watson who adds the right amount of steadfastness and brevity to the role of the Great Detective's faithful companion. John Gilbert gave Holmes a sense of quiet and contemplative maturity with just the right amount of dysfunctional anti-social snark.
My favorite episodes in this collection are: "The Secret of The Five," "The Adventure of the Mind Reader," "The Adventure of the Painted Leaf," "The Billingsgate Horror," "The Adventure of the Bishop's Ring," and "The Adventure of the Samovar."
Another STELLAR collection of "The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" from Jim French Productions.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
TEN STARS!
