My daughter sent me a link to an interesting thread on Reddit. I've talked to younger people (meaning those under 40) and they seem to prefer books with changing view points. An 18 year old I talked to says she gets bored with books that are the same point of view all the way through. I don't know that it's solely a generation thing, though. I like books that switch it up, too. It's also more interesting to write books with multiple view points. It isn't easier to write that way, but it is more interesting.
