The Ace of Pentacles represents new beginnings and prosperity. It is a card of positive financial thinking and renewed hope. Wealth consciousness begins with a feeling of self worth and gratitude for existing blessings. This state of mind entices even more abundant opportunities to seek you out, like hummingbirds to flowers.
What is your attitude about your financial life? Do you feel open to receiving or are you closed with anxiety? Are you actively seeking out new opportunities to improve your financial life?
The imagery of the card shows a divine hand holding a shining, golden coin. This symbolizes that God/the Universe/Spirit is blessing us with abundance and opportunity every moment of every day. We just might not be seeing it. Humans are impatient creatures of habit and are prone to lethargy. We want it now! “Where is it?! You mean I actually have to DO something to improve this?! I thought I could just sit back and let everything come to me, isn’t that how it works?”
The scene on this card depicts a garden. Gardens take time, patience and work to grow. If it is a labor of love, the garden will flourish. This shows that while you can change your mind to think in wealth consciousness in an instant, it doesn’t mean that suddenly money will rain down on you from the sky today. You have to tend your state of mind as you would tend a garden. Weeding out negative thoughts or habits and having patience with your unique growth process. You would never get frustrated with a flower for not blooming two days after the seeds were planted. Why expect your life to display a “finished product” today?
You must also occasionally leave the comfort of the garden to improve it. This means going out into the world, seeking out the elements that will help it flourish. Seek out opportunities and you will find them. Fortune favors the bold.
Today tend your thoughts. Be grateful for what you already have, and more will be on its way!
When the Ace of Coins appears reversed it indicates that soon action must be taken to make your dreams a solid reality. This is a card of the Earth element. The earth element rules all things that are solid, tangible and real. This card promises that when goals are physically acted upon (and not just thought about) then success happens. When the Ace of Pentacles appears reversed it also could indicate a hesitancy to fully embrace new opportunities. Often you will know what you need to do to improve the situation, but still there is procrastination, anxiety, or resistance to committing your new start. New beginnings often prove to be wonderful in hindsight, but the process leading up to them can be full of trepidation.
When reversed, the Ace of Pentacles indicates that new shoots are beginning to sprout in the garden of your mind. These come in the form of daring ideas and inspiration for increasing personal prosperity in all its forms. Tend your thoughts like the garden on the card. Weed out anything that is causing your momentum and confidence to stall. Find out which weed is strangling your idea from becoming a reality. There is no need to fear the new opportunities opening to you at this time.
This card also encourages you to try. Too many successful ideas are abandoned before they even have a chance to take root because of fear and anxiety. Don't talk yourself out of success. What do you have to lose (besides your fear) if you bravely attempt your dream? Today, accept that you are worthy. You can have your cake and eat it too. You are worthy of prosperity, love, acceptance and a fulfilling life. Any thought to the contrary needs to be weeded out and released. You are worthy!

You and your partner been having trouble adapting to the new reality you find yourself in. It may feel like the mountain you’ve both been re-climbing has become too much to endure. Career troubles may also be negatively impacting the relationship. You (or your partner) need to be more sensible about your current challenges.
Seeking Romance
You are reexamining issues surrounding your sense of worth or worthiness. You may have been hitting a wall, over and over, only to finally get the message, “Invest in yourself!” Stop fruitlessly expending your energy on those who don’t truly value you. Move on from any person, job, or environment that undercuts your sense of self-worth.
