But not as many know me as Daniel S. Janik, actor, with dance partner Setsuko Tsuchiya, actress, both International-style Ballroom and Latin American performance and competition dancers. Over the past 25 years we’ve had the pleasure of studying DanceSport from outstanding coaches like Mr. Albert Franz and recently Hiromi and Seiji Yuki as well as tens of other international dance competitors and champions.
In 1998, we had the pleasure of performing as background dancers and extras in FANTASY ISLAND Episode 4 – “Dying to Dance” — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xYAE.... In 2020, I co-starred with Jerri Lynne Endo (“Ginny”) in STATIC (2021) including a brief dance scene — https://youtu.be/H8fg9xh1Kwo?t=281. More recently, Setsuko and I auditioned to dance in a party scene in the Kurt Ken Kaminaka Production of THE PERFECT ILLUSION — https://www.totck.com/the-perfect-ill... — though due to time and space constraints, we ended up as dapper extra’s at the party — https://youtu.be/8jOQQ4RaOvg?t=75. Now we’re excited by the possibility of being featured dancers in the K. Simmons Production of FINDING KATE. The scene is a gala “Hawaiiwood” studio party. At the moment, we’re awaiting contracts so we can begin choreographing the performance.
