Book 4 of the Rune War.
Finishing book three took a lot out of me as it turned into a whopper coming in at 200K words. I felt a bit burnt out by it due to missing self appointed deadlines.
I have started book 4. The working title is Temple of Storms. I'm only 14k words into this. I knew where I want the story to go, how it roughly ends and what things need to happen to progress it. But I am taking my time ensuring I look after my own mental health as well.
But already, after the prologue my mind is jumping many books ahead with the endless possibilities. Many different books and story lines will be woven in by the very end of the series.
Book three introduces some (in my opinion awesome characters) I've based some of these characters off loved ones, past and present. Particularly Stefus Grimthain and Ammonius.
I'm hoping book three will be ready, edited and good to go by May 2022.
For now, I'll try and do these little blog posts with my progress for book 4.
