Hey, Lovelies! Well, we are halfway through the week! Hooray!
No, seriously, I’m ready for the weekend. (LOL)
I’ve been busy making swag, writing, and parenting so unfortunately, I haven’t been able to read. (Except for a few pages for my author friends Andi Lyn and J. Truesdell. Other than that, no reading for me. Sigh.) Because I haven’t been able to sit down and read a book from front to back, I have to lean on hubby for a review of a book.
Drumroll…
Hubby’s pick for this week is
Mastery by Robert Greene. (Disclaimer: He is only halfway through it)
What do you like about the book? As it explains it is very informative and allows you to see why the applications work… Along with learning the stories of past masters…It gives you guidance on areas you can work on to improve and reach the next level.
Are the chapters drawn out & boring? Or short and sweet? Long enough for a notepad. However, it’s filled with jewels so it makes it worth it.
Are there a lot of big words?
Only a few words caught me off guard.
Would you recommend this book? Yes. Recommended. Anyone who is truly striving for growth in their craft or hobby will love this book.
