When we’re in a hard spot or a valley…

When we’re in a hard spot or a valley, sometimes we think that’s where we’ll stay. We expect life will always be as hard as it is today and think there is no promise that things will get better.

 

But we do have promises.

Joseph didn’t stay in prison.

The Israelites didn’t stay in Egypt.

Job didn’t stay in grief and physical malady.

David didn’t stay hiding from Saul.

Esther didn’t stay destined for death.

Daniel didn’t stay in the lion’s den.

Jesus didn’t stay in the grave.
