Sometimes I think I'm in the groove, writing along, feeling great, okay maybe getting a little tired.
Then I take a breath and read through the scene I've just written. Can I add anything? Is everyone nodding too much? Does the kiss FEEL passionate?
And as I'm reading, it hits me...I've lost her arms somewhere. I know where his arms and hands are and what they're doing, but suddenly I realize I've basically decapitated my heroine. LOL!!!
This is the point where I have to say to myself, "STOP. It's time to stop writing for the night and go to bed." :-)
So, today is a fresh start. I'm telling you, the more I write Candi and Enzo, the better their story becomes. Here's just a tiny teaser for you from Enzo's point of view...
I want to see her again, soon. And we don’t have anything set up. I’m not one to chase a woman. I don’t know what it is about her. Her heart, her essence, her soul. I’m addicted.
Remember to add it to your TBR:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6.... It's releasing this summer!
Okay, back to writing. :-)
Hugs!
