Ies în Via Galba, uitând frica înăuntru... în spatele porţilor... printre maşinile lăsate pe jenţi... Vadim se îndepărtează alene, cu umerii căzuţi, cu fruntea plecată, cu poalele trenciului fâlfâind. Spre vest se îndepărtează.
