Wednesday, 20th October -- You guys made it really hard. I've never seen such amazing Halloween decorations -- and all so very different from each other, from skeletons to wreaths to pumpkins to trees. Thank you very much for giving me such pleasure. I picked two winners -- again, these two struck me personally the most, but it was close. #1 is Cricket Kaylis and #2 is Barbara Evans. I've got to give a shout out also to Noelle Van Slyke -- a bathtub with a skeleton covered to his chin with dozens of small pumpkins. Cricket. and Barbara, email me at ReadMoi@gmail.com with your choice of book and your home address. Thanks again to everyone who posted Halloween photos -- that was lots of fun for me and I hope, for you as well.
The Weather Minions came through -- it RAINED last night and it's dark and dank today, the fog so thick you can't see five feet outside the window. And more rain is coming, "the pineapple express" due on Sunday -- it's from Hawaii -- supposed to have winds and lots of rain. BIG YEA -- but alas, no hiking. And that means lots of bike and stairs.
I'll post, FOR FUN, my pick for the Thursday Night Football game. Can you believe, it's week 7 already.
Those of you with no rain or snow or hail or flying monkeys, GET OUT THERE and walk with my spirit. Thank you.

I'm Baaaack!

Update on BOMBSHELL, the 17th FBI Thriller: I'm nearly finished with the edit. The cover is very cool, explodes with eye-popping color. BOMBSHELL is set in Maestro, Va., (the setting of the 10th FBI thriller, POINT BLANK) and in Washington.
JEWEL OF THE LION (first thriller in A Brit in the FBI series partnered with J.T. Ellison). JEWEL moves fast and you don't know what's going to happen on the next page, and you're biting your toenails or a zombie's toenails. J.T. is an excellent plotter and that means when we brainstorm no plot gets left behind.
Alas, no kids want candy enough to crawl up our oxygen-deprived steep driveway, and the sad thing is, I still have a big bowl of candy, every year, but no one comes, not even the zombies with brain bags.
Take care, Catherine
