Friday, 1st October -- It really feels weird to write October -- it was just June and the OBX and where did August go? Hard to keep up with time, it's moving so fricking fast. It appears we're starting our Indian Summer here -- high today is 76 degrees, sunny, gorgeous at the water. Have you noticed on your walks when the weather is great and the sun is shining down on your head, everyone you see is smiling, happier than usual?
Eli gets to go to the vet today -- oh joy. He's a total wimp when he gets there, turns boneless, but he sees the carrier, and he KNOWS and he runs, catching him is a challenge. Don't worry, he's fine. All of us get a yearly check up, right?
The game last night -- I was pleased that the Jaguars did so well in the first half -- with Trevor Lawrence at the helm they just might get out of the losing loop -- everyone expects you to lose and you do and you keep doing it because everyone expects it -- we'll see.
Everyone, it's a grand Friday -- make the most of it -- do one thing today that you haven't done in a long time. Think a minute, you'll come up with something cool and needful.
