Andrea, can I infer hippy alternative culture thinking from the 1960s - and from Brazil - in your argument for randomness regarding justice? Thanks too for your CodeX talk in 2019, Andrea, (from which I found your email address again!) And congratulations on receiving your PhD since then -
9/19/19 - Andréa Naccache, innovation and crisis management consultant, psychoanalyst, and lawyer, is currently a PhD candidate in philosophy of law at the University of São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil. Ms. Naccache will argue that ethical decisions may be as complex as the "algorithmically random" defined by Gregory Chaitin, and will consider how a theory of justice for algorithms might be derived. Andrea will present from our meeting room at SLS.
