ARTIST'S DESCRIPTIONThis #MRasheedCartoons image was inspired by a meme I saw posted frequently by middling white racists, the message of which is pointed in the other direction with the European conquerors asking the natives how did they get so "poor & primitive." That's ridiculously stupid, of course, since the peoples in question had actually been thriving on the land for ages in cultures countless years old -- a people who by the time Columbus, et al., met them they had lost more lore than these uninsightful goobs will ever know.
