Once In A… Full Moon

Hello awesome nerds and happy Monday everyone.

I hope you guys had a great weekend and you enjoyed last night’s full moon, whatever you did.

I know I enjoyed it very much. Firstly because the moon always reminds me that darkness can’t take away the beauty of life and secondly because, last night, I truly did something spontaneous. And if you’ve been around here for a while now, you probably know that I don’t normally do spontaneous. I love my schedule, my routine. I love my spreadsheets and the balance this organisation brings to my everyday life. I love knowing what’s gonna happen and what I have to do.

It keeps me focused, calm and, most importantly, in control.

But the thing is that I had forgotten how fascinating the unknown, the surprises sometimes are.

I’ve said it before and I’m gonna say it again. The choices we make are the people we are; who we want and who we choose to be.

So far in my life, I like my choices. I may have made mistakes, as all humans do, but I’ve also taken risks. And I’m glad I have. Because I don’t live with a constant “what if”.

It’s funny… How well-organised I want and try for my everyday life to be, but at the same time how much joy and thrill little surprises and spontaneous decisions bring to me, how they make my heart bloom.

I guess I do spontaneous every once in a… full moon.

I don’t know if it is insecurities or the certainty that some things are just meant to be.

I guess only time will show what’s truly meant to be.
