ARTIST'S DESCRIPTIONThis #MRasheedCartoons image was inspired by the definition of “history” (study of the past) when applied to the “history is written by the victors” concept as practiced by the dominant political identity. The latter’s over-the-top chimp out regarding the national discussion around teaching #1619Project and anti-racism literature in the country’s schools reveals that they consider “history is written by the victors” to be a sacred right worth dying for – which makes some sense, since indoctrinating the populace and hoarding top quality education is a major tool of maintaining their monopoly of wealth & rule.
