Circling the Promises

In 2015, after reading The Circle Maker, I began writing Bible verses in a small notebook. These are verses that speak to who I am in Christ, that tell what God has done and/or has promised to do in my life because I am His child. It’s my own way of “circling the promises” that Mark Batterson talks about in his book.

Verses like:

Create in me a clean heart, God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
(Psalm 51:10, NASB 2020)

And:

Blessed be God,
Who has not turned away my prayer
Nor ...
