Author talk about my new book!
Huntsman (House of Misfits #3) took nearly 4 months to write. The heroine is paraplegic. The hero is actually a villain who is Korean and an assassin.
I mean this isn't challenging at all. 😅
Add in a brother's best friend trope, a modern retelling of Tangled and a family that will literally do anything for each other... we've got one heck of a book and A LOT of moving pieces for one writer to keep track of.
I did a lot of research. I felt a lot. I teared up some. I got tired. I got discouraged. I killed some people (characters y'all, characters LOL) and then I finished.
This was a challenging book on so many levels but I put everything I could into it. I tried my best to do justice to these characters so I hope you will enjoy Huntsman when it releases on Friday August 13th. I mean, how could I not release the Huntsman into the world on friday the 13th?!
p.s. I recommend reading Ivory White BEFORE Huntsman. 🙂
