M/M Modern fairy tale!
My entire midsection clenched from my throat all the way to my lower stomach. He seemed to me like a thin reed billowing in the wintry night air while people passed by, maybe seeing his beauty but somehow overlooking everything else he was.
Did they not see his fragility? Hear the vulnerability in those notes? Did he not seem small to them as he hunched in, trying to make himself invisible even as everyone in earshot could hear?
I didn’t know what ailed him most, I didn’t know how he played with such hopeful sorrow, and honestly? I didn’t care.
If he was shattered I’d love every jagged piece.
If he was cracked, I’d try and fill in his spaces.
If the hope still lit inside him needed fanned into a flame… I would be a lighter.
It didn’t matter to me what form Fletcher came in, it only mattered that he was mine.

Author talk about my new book!
Huntsman (House of Misfits #3) took nearly 4 months to write. The heroine is paraplegic. The hero is actually a villain who is Korean and an assassin.
I mean this isn't challenging at all. 😅
Add in a brother's best friend trope, a modern retelling of Tangled and a family that will literally do anything for each other... we've got one heck of a book and A LOT of moving pieces for one writer to keep track of.
I did a lot of research. I felt a lot. I teared up some. I got tired. I got discouraged. I killed some people (characters y'all, characters LOL) and then I finished.
This was a challenging book on so many levels but I put everything I could into it. I tried my best to do justice to these characters so I hope you will enjoy Huntsman when it releases on Friday August 13th. I mean, how could I not release the Huntsman into the world on friday the 13th?!
p.s. I recommend reading Ivory White BEFORE Huntsman. 🙂
