Angles

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying to put yourself in some else’s shoes at least once before in your life. Or perhaps you’ve given this sage advice to someone around you. This is essentially a call to look at a situation from a different angle. I’m not talking Math here although the world is full of those types of angles too. I’m talking about understanding where someone comes from or at least trying to.

This week, angles or different points of view seemed to be the resounding theme. Not only do we try to understand where others are coming from but seeing situations from different view points can help us problem solve. We can figure out ways to be smarter with bills or even how to be better parents or friends. We can learn to phrase things in ways others are receptive to. We adapt.

Bottomline, I see this as an asset. No one gets anywhere but hurt by slamming into a wall. Why not be open to a different angle?

Happy writing this week!
