The Distance I Have Traveled

Millions of miles away, a humongous boulder like ours
I will be the first man, to reach the mars in a few hours
Traveling for years, training for more, inside this box
The distance I have traveled to prove it’s not a hoax
Run like a Cheetah, fly like a bird, swim like a fish
Science and technology has fulfilled our every wish
Dumping my wealth for the advancement of science
Science was the humanity’s success in my conscience

Oh! The distance I have traveled to prove it’s not a hoax
I was a human, I sat under trees, I listened to my folks
Salmons swam in the river, birds flew above our heads
There were no Cheetahs, deers ran through flowerbeds
Science brought us cures, but the health eluded us
With all the physical comfort, satisfaction is real sus
What distance should I travel to become human again
I am a bird, a meteorite, a scientist, but a human in vain
