The featured book for the month of April was Witches Stepped In Gold, by Ciannon Smart. The book came with a SIGNED BOOKPLATE, a LETTER FROM THE AUTHOR and EXTRA CONTENT: an ANNOTATED CHAPTER which is simply EPIC!

If you haven’t heard of this book before, here is the blurb for you to read it:
“Divided by their order. United by their vengeance.
Iraya has spent her life in a cell, but every day brings her closer to freedom – and vengeance.
Jazmyne is the Queen’s daughter, but unlike her sister before her, she has no intention of dying to strengthen her mother’s power.
Sworn enemies, these two witches enter a precarious alliance to take down a mutual threat. But power is intoxicating, revenge is a bloody pursuit, and nothing is certain – except the lengths they will go to win this game.
This Jamaican-inspired fantasy debut about two enemy witches who must enter into a deadly alliance to take down a common enemy has the twisted cat-and-mouse of Killing Eve with the richly imagined fantasy world of Furyborn and Ember in the Ashes.”
Although my TBR pile is completely out of control at the moment, still this particular books gives me summer vibes (probably because of Jamaica) so I will try to read it soon. Especially since the world will remind me of Furyborn and An Ember in the Ashes.
Thank you all so very much for stopping by once again. It truly means the world to me and I want you to know that I most certainly don’t take your presence here for granted.
Let me know in the comment section below if you have read any of the books mentioned in this post and which was your favourite item from this box.
