Have you read anything from Edogawa Rampo? I just finished his short book called Moju: The Blind Beast about a blind sculptor/masseur who tricks women into coming into his surreal torture chamber and then disposes the bodies in bizarre ways. Rampo also wrote stories about other perverse weirdos like The Human Chair and The Caterpillar.

Thanks for the recommendation! I have been curious about Edogawa Ranpo for a while and will explore his works---I enjoy a lot of Edgar Allan Poe and adore select works by HP Lovecraft, Algernon Blackwood, and Arthur Machen.

Hello, Mr Zahler. I have a question, do you know if more of your books will be published in Spanish?
For years only one of your books has been published in spanish: Wraiths of the Broken Land.

I am not aware of any other books of mine being translated to Spanish---though most are available in French and some are in German and Japanese---but I hope that changes in the future. Thanks for the inquiry and take care!

Hey, Zahler. I loved both books and shared my reviews for each with my tiny audience to hopefully get at least a couple of others to check them out. Here's my review for The Slanted Gutter: https://youtu.be/Y7YXlsZ02t0 and for Forbidden Surgeries of the Hideous Dr. Divinus: https://youtu.be/9cpZM_WxkHs if you're at all curious

Yes. Vinyl and CD soundtracks exist for Bone Tomahawk, Brawl in Cell Block 99, and Dragged Across Concrete, some are easier to find than others at this point. There's even a cassette version of Brawl in Cell Block 99.
